The management team understands the importance of choosing high quality opportunities. As a combined management team, their personal portfolio includes interests in businesses and real estate with a combined overall asset value of over $2,500,000,000 (amount includes total value of the assets, not the specific value of the management team’s portfolio). Since 2014, Travis has owned and operated TD Barr Construction in the Central Florida area. He has specialized in both residential/commercial development and cell tower site selection/consulting with some of the worlds largest companies. Travis' attention to detail has earned the respect of clients, lenders and others within the commercial/residential construction industry. He is committed to providing the maximum level of client satisfaction in every area of real estate.
Sean Casper is the Managing Director for Coastal Investment Company, LLC. Sean comes from a 15-year background as a Residential Real Estate corporate leader. Sean moved to Coastal from the largest independent brokerage in the Country, Compass a Fortune 500 company, where he was the Regional Vice President of the Florida region. Sean’s experience has led him to oversee more than $15 Billion in commercial and residential sales volume transactions throughout his career.
Sean is responsible for introducing Coastals’ real estate private equity fund offerings to their investors and managing operations of the business alongside the C-suite team. Sean works with the board of directors to offer strategic direction, provide advice on utilization of company resources, communicate company and fund updates to investors and source new real estate syndication opportunities.
Sean’s is well respected by his mentors, staff and customers based on his core values of integrity, empathy and adaptability. Sean sets the example, measuring success through growth and development with his sleeves rolled up servant leadership style.
Sean lives in Delray Beach, Florida with his wife and two young children. When Sean is not talking real estate, you can find him with his family, swimming, cycling or running as Sean is an avid triathlete.

Brandon Shores has worked in commercial real estate for seven years in Miami as part of one of the top teams at Newmark. Brandon has drawn on his in depth understanding of finance and the impact cash flows have on asset valuations. He has been successful in applying financial analyses to create effective real estate strategies when looking to invest in any commercial real estate asset class; from office to retail to multifamily. His access to specialized investments and robust resources has proven successful for his clients and investors. Brandon received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Central Florida and Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Florida Atlantic University.
Kyle graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in interpersonal/organizational communication '08. Kyle was the starting Quarterback for the knights and led the program to its first ever conference championship in 2007. After graduation, Kyle spent time playing professionally overseas in Germany, Russia, and Poland.
For the last decade, Kyle has been an entrepreneur. Most notably from 15’ – 19’ he oversaw Franchise expansion, growth, fundraising, site selection and operations for a Central Florida restaurant franchise-taking them from 0-14 locations in four years. Prior to Coastal Investment Company, Kyle was co-founder & President of the startup NESTRE Health & Performance. Kyle successfully navigated the companies early fundraising rounds which gave him the unique experience fundraising in the Angel, Venture Capital, and Private Equity spaces. Today Kyle lives in Berlin, Germany where he will anchor our international investment efforts.

Jamaal is the President and Founder of The Prominent Group, a business management company specializing in sport and athlete development. He also serves in a business development capacity raising VC funding and securing partners for sports-tech and ed-tech startups. In addition to his successful career, the Locust Grove, GA, native was a defensive back for Georgia State University from 2010-2014, where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. He continued his post-graduate education at the University of Central Florida and earned his MBA and Master's in Sport Business Management from the renowned DeVos Sport Business Management Program.
Previously, Jamaal has worked with Frisco, Texas-based sports agency, Team Sports Agency, along with the Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Oregon State Athletics Student-Athletes where he served in various personal and professional athlete development capacities. Jamaal, an entrepreneur by nature, also co-founded the Albert Wilson Foundation in 2016 and Trey Four Media in 2021. He is passionate about serving and creating pathways and opportunities for underserved youth in Metro Atlanta and throughout South Florida.

Steve Jones is a real estate and business executive with over 35 years industry experience from start-up phase to multi-billion dollar companies. His strength is rapidly scaling businesses by identifying the right leadership teams, focusing on product differentiation, and training employees to achieve operational excellence. He received a B.S. in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and has taken Post-Graduate Real Estate and Business Courses from Georgia State University.
For 30 years, he worked for a global real estate company where he became an International Director and was part of the Project and Development Services Management Executive Committee. His expertise was in the multi-site restaurant / retail sector where he started and grew that national practice in to the largest specialty Project and Development Services practice. Due to his success in growing that practice, he was asked to grow the other national specialty project management practices which included Healthcare, Higher Education, Hospitality, Industrial, Sustainability and Brand Experience. They collectively achieved around 20% annual growth. His passion is helping teams deliver on their clients’ business goals by providing training on project management methodology, leadership development, relationship management and product differentiation.
Steve currently raises capital and invests in real estate and early-stage companies to help them grow. He believes that investors need alternatives other than the stock market to achieve asset preservation and exponential financial growth.

Larry Ferrere has been a serial software and services executive with over 40 years of enterprise and supply chain business expertise having worked globally to help grow companies and improve their business operations and efficiency while increasing revenue, profitability, and industry leadership. His leadership roles have spanned strategy, marketing, and business development across the manufacturing, retail, logistics, and healthcare industry segments, that also included raising venture and private capital and helping companies through their initial public offering and merger and acquisition processes. In 2001 he founded InterimONE, an executive management and strategy advisory firm, that has helped reposition and grow leading private and public companies by providing CxO leadership. Mr. Ferrere has also served on the Board of Directors and in Advisory Board roles for a variety of software technology companies.
Angel Cortes has spent over 30 years in Automotive retail, holding key positions with some of the largest companies such as AutoNation, Sonic and Asbury. Angel has also been the owner of a Kia franchise. Angel has spent many years as an owner operator in the Hospitality, Hair/skin care, Music Entertainment and Advertising industries. Today, he’s actively involved in real estate investing and focused on the acquisition side of Private Equity with mid-size companies.
